Pallantes Italian Deli in Richboro is the best kept "Italian secret" in all of bucks county when it comes to "OFF THE CHAIN" classic South Philly deli style eats. Stop reading this and Go get you sum! Closed Mondays because everybody deserves a day off!!

Tremendous Hoagie. Not sure if it's even worth going into Philly anymore to get a good Italian. Definitely in the top 3 of Italians I have sampled. Up there with the best in Philly. Basically, I brought a bagful of Godfathers home, and nobody was talking until the hoagies were but a memory. I would deduce that the silence around the table was caused by the magic of their hoagies. Most highly recommended. Pay no attention to the Michael Kaminsky review, you would only be selling yourself short.

Pallante's is a little taste of South Philly right here in the northern suburbs! It's a small takeaway storefront deli and Italian specialty foods shop. The old fashioned tomato pie has a crisp yet tender crust that is hard to find anywhere else and the hoagies are outstanding, as well, whether hot or cold. In fact, the roast pork sandwich is an underrated, absolute must try. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
